Q: My driveway is 12' 10 " wide. If I bought 2 could I make a 50/50 split gate? Or would there be too big of a gap between them when closed? If I can, what would be a good material to use as the achor posts that would work with the included hinges? Wood?

Frustrating

This is more of a review of Tractor Supply. These gates were previously stocked in store, which made the process easy. Now these are not stocked in store anywhere in the DFW, Tx area, which means you have to order them on TSC website and have them shipped to Store, which adds $120 to the cost for freight. The other issue is you cannot use your tax exemption when you purchase online. To remedy that, you can go to the Store, pick up and then return the product, then repurchase it tax exempt. Only problem with that there is no mechanism in the TSC system to allow for that transaction, since there is freight cost associated with it. Three associates wasted 50 minutes of their time trying to figure it out. Finally the Manager just gave me $23 in cash to get it done. Thank you to the Store staff for putting in the effort to keep a satisfied customer.
Now to the gate itself, after waiting almost a month for it, we finally got it installed and found that the chain latch piece was never installed. No way I will return it and go thru that hassle again...
