Great for getting the right consistency of maple syrup! Be careful to wash right away and store in package with foam padding to prevent breaking.

This is an investment in my hobby of making syrup. Based on the purchase price, I was surprised to find no instructions enclosed with the unit. Thankfully, a backyard syrup making group provided tips for properly using this product.
