Great for getting the right consistency of maple syrup! Be careful to wash right away and store in package with foam padding to prevent breaking.

This is an investment in my hobby of making syrup. Based on the purchase price, I was surprised to find no instructions enclosed with the unit. Thankfully, a backyard syrup making group provided tips for properly using this product.

I ordered some things for maple syrup processing and this was one of the items. This goes along with an additional cup that costs another 28$ so both together around 50$ to measure sugar content of syrup... Which is expensive imo. The problem that I ran into was that I drove 40 minutes to pick up my items and they cancelled this item due to miscounted inventory (they didn't actually have one) they did not offer any solution, I actually didn't even notice until I got home. So, I made another order for the same item from another store about 35 minutes in another direction and headed that way. When I got there they had cancelled that order as well.. now I'm stuck with the 28$ cup that I can't use and I've wasted a couple hours driving around and looking at the laggy website online that is full of incorrect information.... Yuck.
