Awesome! Works great Best pump I ever bought! Would buy it again if I needed to

On the plus side if you can keep both your suction line and the pump air free this pump performs well. And the convenience of electric and and on switch (no gas to mess with). Price was good, and nice light weight. But, big but, if you are above waterline and do not have a pristine foot valve this pump will not handle the smallest bubble in the inlet for start up. So it was so inconvenient to me that I returned it. I have gone through 2 gas pumps of this category, both if pump primed would pull several feet of air out of the inlet. So if you have pristine conditions like a pool or pond, a foot valve (that won't get a little piece of something in it and drain back, and maybe just have very occasional use) this might be a good choice. But for me with a dug well used seasonally, it was just too much of a pain to clean the foot valve and prime everything for every start. I use them all summer for garden and hot tub water in an auxiliary well. Gonna buy another gas unit similar to the Subaru 4 stroke that has been wonderful, but the pull start broke, waiting for the part - throttle-able too. If they had just used a pump head similar to the Subaru's and now I think Generac's with that motor think it would have been perfect.
