For the Stirling 6 x 8 ft model, the rear gate is designed to function as the primary loading surface for equipment such as ATVs. In normal use, the loading gate is engineered to support approximately 50% of the trailer’s rated payload during loading, since the weight is distributed between the gate, the trailer bed, and the ground as the vehicle transitions onto the trailer. This design is sufficient within the overall 1,548 lbs. capacity rating. Yes, a Yamaha Kodiak 450 ATV with a rider is considered typical use for this trailer when operated within its rated capacity and with proper loading conditions. Thank you again for your question. Someone Is Going To Get Killed Using This Trailer

I picked this up today at the Tractor Supply Store. When the Tractor Supply employee was driving a Toro riding lawnmower onto the trailer--the deck of the lawnmower (which was set at the highest adjustment) caught the ramp at the trailer connection point and the lawnmower started to flip over backwards with the employee on it. I caught the employee and averted a disaster. The problem is the gate is too short. It needs to be longer in order to have the proper angle for a riding lawnmower to load. This is an extremely dangerous situation and most likely will involve a vehicle recall in the United States. I do hope you folks are reading this and will make the necessary changes before someone gets killed or injured using your trailer. Otherwise, it appears to be a nice trailer

Not that great

Bottom 3 circle lights on back not working. Didn't notice till I got it home. Then the passenger side fender light stopped working the next day. Connections are not good. Connectors just fall off. Going to have to go through all the wiring I guess. Doesn't come with a spare tire which is lame. Seems to be an okay trailer for what it is i guess. Just expect to do some work on it. Shouldn't have to work on a brand new trailer. My luck I guess. Havent had anything heavy on it yet. Be interesting to see.
