The Sta-Bil Storage Fuel Stabilizer keeps fuel fresh for quick easy starts after storage. It removes water to prevent corrosion and cleanses carburetors and fuel injectors. This fuel additive also protects the engine from gum, varnish, rust, and corrosion and prolongs the life of any engine. Eliminate the need to drain the fuel of your 2- or 4-cycle engine by treating the fuel with Sta-Bil additive before storing.

Q: ca it be mixed too strong? i mix one oz/ five gallon gasoline, 89 octane, produced and sold byMFA oil, want to use in my 2014eco boost fi150 and john deere lawn gaslawb tractor

- A: Hi. Thanks for the great question. You can safely add more than the recommended amount of STA-BIL® Storage -as long as it does way beyond the suggested amount (1oz per 2,.5 gallons). I run Sta-Bil year around.

10 years ago, when we moved from a condo into a house where I had to take care of the yard, I decided to always run Sta-Bil in all my power equipment. I add it to my fuel cans when I fill them. I've found it helps counteract the issues with 10% ethanol that is in regular pump gas. 2 1/2 years ago I was sidelined with some health issues. I finally can get back to taking care of the yard etc. My lawn tractor, pressure washer, push mower, 2 cycle string trimmer, 2 cycle blower and snow blower all had to sit idle during that time. Everything fired right up on the old gas that was either in their tanks or in my gas cans. I can't say enough good things about Sta-Bil. I recommend it to friends and acquaintances' all the time. It's kept all my equipments fuel systems in great shape.

I have been using Stabil for quite a long time. My classic car fires right up after sitting all winter with this additive. I also use it in my generator, the tank is always full but rarely used, I trust Stabil to make sure it’s ready to go in case of an emergency.
