Some of our safes have an exterior power cord that plugs into a wall outlet in order to provide power to the interior outlet located in the top right of the safe. As for the keypad the batteries are the only thing that powers up the keypad. Good looking, high quality gun safe.

This Haven gun safe has everything going for it. The fire rating is better than many, the finish on outside and inside is superb and the 1.5 inch bolts make the safe secure. I also like the fact it is waterproof for up to 7 days in two feet of water not that I will ever need that. My only problem seems to be with setting up the electronic keypad. I will have to call to get that figured out because the instructions are not explicit on how to accomplish that. Great safe and I am pleased.
