Battery replacement for both collar and transmitte

I worked with SportDOG tech support on intermittent problems with transmitter communicating with collar and they suggested replacing both batteries. I still have intermittent communication problems but batteries install was simple and they charged fine.

Many companies today sell tools and the like that run on rechargeable batteries, and then they don't even sell replacement batteries for the day when the original batteries fail. When that happens, you can be left with no choice but to throw away an otherwise perfectly functional "whatever" because the company didn't care enough about you or the environment to support products longer term (I just had this happen with a set of Craftsman power tools---once and done with the original batteries, as Craftsman doesn't offer a replacement battery. That was my last Craftsman purchase). The replacement transmitter and receiver batteries I got from my older SportDog 1825 were a perfect fit and have got me up and running with my "new old" e-collar with a crazy young Epagneul Breton that is now part of my home. Thank you, SportDOG!

I called in to customer service and they got me the batteries I needed for my old collar and transmitter . Very easy to change out.
