The Spectracide 16 oz. Carpenter Bee and Ground-Nesting Yellowjacket Killer Foaming Aerosol expands to hard-to-reach areas where insects live. The extension tube helps you reach difficult areas with the insect control to provide full protection around your home. The versatile formula of the insecticide kills on contact and can be spread by the bees through the whole nest.

- A: This foam is ok to use if you have kids or dogs, but they should stay away from the treated areas until they're completely dry. We should also say that this foaming product is intended for use against carpenter bees and ground-nesting yellowjackets. We recommend Spectracide Wasp & Hornet Killer instead for above-ground nests4 years agoHelpful?

Have used this product two years in a row now. Absolutely and totally effective in destroying yellow jackets in ground nests. Apply at night and fill the hole. May have a second hole nearby. Activity will be severely diminished first application. Check the hole early the next morning and you may see a couple flying nearby. Reapply morning and night until no activity is observed. One can may be enough but I keep a couple of cans all the time. Locate the nest hole from a distance during the day and then apply at night while using a flashlight.
Yes, I recommend this product.
