Accomplish outdoor tasks with a single free hand due to Tellus ATK's assisted opening frame lock mechanism. The open frame lock design has been engineered to mitigate the effects of dirt, mud and other debris that can foul more complicated systems and the blade locks on to the sturdy metal frame and simulates the strength of a rugged fixed blade knife. The deep belly black oxide coated CRYO 440C stainless steel blade provides plenty of backbone to this outdoor workhorse while offering a sharp and durable edge. The GRN handle is durable and textured to provide a sure and safe grip in the wet or dry, with gloves and without.

Super sharp right out the box. Love the squid ink and yellow colors. Perfect size for EDC and is super durable. Cryo 440 and the frame is indestructible. Great knife.

First off, just from an aesthetics pov, the colors are awesome. I love the combo. As for fit and function, the assisted open is tensioned perfectly and hasn’t relaxed at all (and hoping it stays that way for a few years). The size is also great and fits perfectly in my hands and pocket. Sorry, nothing bad to say here. I love the knife.

I love my ATK Tellus assisted opening knife. This knife was made specially for my hand. Everything from the blade shape, black stone washed drop point blade, pocket clip, squid ink handle material, overall size, blade length and yellow back spacer and even the jimping is perfect for enhancing my grip. It's my new favorite SOG, EDC knife. I've carrying it daily since it arrived. Great price as well. I'm an old school, senior and a big fan of the (vintage) 440C blade steel that came very sharp, holds an edge and is a breeze to sharpen when needed. Centered perfectly too. Kudos to SOG.
