Escape 2.0 is an update to the original economical Escape folding knife designed for use by law enforcement, first responders, and emergency personnel. The assisted AUS-8 stainless steel blade opens with a snap during one handed operation. Use the integrated glass breaker and belt cutter for situations ranging from rescue operations to solving day to day problems. Built for the long run, Escape 2.0 features a rugged aircraft-quality steel handle and a tried and true assisted open liner lock mechanism.

  • Ruggedly built from AUS-8 steel and aircraft-quality aluminum. Featuring an integrated cord/seat belt cutter and glass breaker, the Escape 2.0 is designed and built for people who depend on their tools to make a difference.
  • The assisted opening liner lock provides easy and fast one-handed operation. Use the integrated cord/seat belt cutter to take care of all kinds of cutting activities, all without having to open the knife. A spare blade for the belt cutter is stored in the knife's handle.
  • Every element of Escape 2.0 has been developed for extreme or emergencies including a fast assisted open and one-handed operation, line cutter, and glass breaker all seamlessly integrated with a high-grip textured and durable aluminum handle.
  • AUS-8 steel is Japanese-made stainless steel with excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. This is an upper medium-quality steel that is favored by many knife makers and designers for its cost-effectiveness and corrosion resistance.
  • You may never need to use this feature but you will be thankful you have it available when you need to extricate yourself or someone else from a car.
  • A convenient cutting tool that can be used without opening the knife. Cut seat belts in an emergency, paracord at the campsite, or a loose thread from your shirt. A spare blade is conveniently hidden in the handle of the knife.

I am a retired Firefighter. I was given a SOG flash II over 15 years ago as a birthday gift, and still wear it every day. My Daughter was hired as a Firefighter recently. I purchased the SOG as a family Firefighter tradition.
