Precision-crafted from D2 steel in a variety of bold PVD finishes, the Diverge XR folding knife is your ideal everyday carry (EDC) companion. Its unique, 3-inch sheepsfoot-style blade is forged from rugged, 2.4mm-thick D2 steel for controlled cuts in any scenario. An anodized 6061AL aluminum handlecomplete with an ergonomic shape and textured, no-slip griphelps you maintain a secure hold during any task. Ambidextrous thumb studs, an easy-to-operate flipper opening mechanism, and a convenient pocket clip ensure it's always quick to deploy using one hand. An innovative XR locking mechanism for safe operation.

Available in a variety of unique color combinations as well as a classic black blade and black handle configuration. Note the textured 6061 aluminum handle.
The Diverge has a unique, 3-inch sheepsfoot style blade that is forged from rugged, 2.4mm-thick D2 steel, which excels at delivering controlled cuts in any scenario.
The Diverge is made from all of the good stuff. An honest D2 steel blade, SOG's legendary XR lock, 6061 aluminum textured handle scales, and a unique sheepsfoot blade.
A versatile high-carbon tool steel that is cryogenically heat-treated to SOGs unique performance specifications. D2 provides the ideal combination of edge retention and durability for long term use with ease of maintenance.
Simultaneously rugged and beautiful, these aluminum scales feature an ergonomic shape and textured, no-slip grip that help you maintain control of your knife during any task.

It's mid with a decent price

It's alright. The action is a little sticky and the edge wasn't even, though still sharpish. Not a fan of aluminum scales either. But I knew that when I bought it. Sell some g10 or micarta scales with it. Possibly sell the scales outright without having to buy another blade. The pocket clip is alright for what it is. Could be better. Unfortunately overall, the quality of sog has diminished with the sale to GSM.

Very unique knife and works well as a daily carry. I don’t have many sheepsfoot style knives. This one is really nice and well made as well as being very utilitarian.

Lightweight, sharp blade, compact size slides and clips easily into pocket. Getting used to the thumb lock and non assisted open.
