Doesn’t stay stuck

Used the orange tape in place of traditional tan masking tape to apply masking paper and plastic sheeting to protect floors, etc during a painting project where I used an airless sprayer. I didn’t need sharp paint lines for this but I did need it to stay adhered so paint didn’t get on the flooring. As soon as the primer and paint overspray hit it seemed to shrink, pull away, and lose adhesion. Luckily we caught it before the masking paper and plastic came loose. No harm no foul but a lot of annoyance having to take time to re-mask ahead of each coat. Will not use again though.

Hi there - we are sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, this is not the correct painter's tape to use for indoor surfaces. It is a very high adhesion tape that is ideal for a variety of surfaces such as painted wood trim, vinyl, metal, stucco and concrete. It's conformable backing makes it easy to mask light fixtures, doorknobs, doorways and windows or hang poly. Hope this helps!

Doesn’t stick well

I used, both, Frogtape and Scotch Blue tape on an outdoor project. Clear, moderately humid weather. Applied in late afternoon, for painting the next morning. By morning, the Frogtape was falling/peeling off. The Blue tape was still holding fine

No, I do not recommend this product.

Do Not Use on Stucco

This product will rip off the top layer of your stucco. Taped my front door frame and pulled the tape off 10 hours later, with semi wet paint, and it ripped off sizeable pieces of the top color of my stucco. Yes, it cuts a great line and because the adhesion was excessive, it will now cost me more to fix. Bad bad engineering.
