Q: What type of footings are needed to support this structure?

- A: The best type of footings depend on the site. My kit included 14 anchor cords to be driven into the ground and cabled to each hoop section, but since i had very rocky soil on an uneven site, i dug out and poured 8 - two foot cement footing to secure the end and mid section anchors. and also used them to run and level 2x10 i-beams on both sides and then used lags to hold down each hoop. This may have been overkill, but the site is very windy and i'm not around during the winter to keep an eye on it.Anonymous5 years agoHelpful?
