- A: Hello, The bottom covers rails must be installed in order to properly square your frame before anchoring and installing the cover. Keeping snow off the roof area is strongly recommended. However, we do offer custom Engineered Structures that carry a snow rating when properly anchored. Unless you want to replace the cover every 14 months find a different brand that stands by there product. Quality is horrible ... Left side of the seam on top you could see through and leaked.... Right side perfect. Called about lack of quality they offer to take $50 off a replacement. Lol I rather replace the whole thing with a quality product ... No more SheltorLogic for me.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Horrible instructions!

I bought this recently and while assembling, it stated to put the whole frame together first, THEN to place the cover on and secure it down. After 3 hours of assembly, we went to put the canvas on, and discovered that the cover has to have the frame go through it. So after 3 hours, we have to completely disassemble the entire thing and redo it because the instructions are terrible. The instructions need to be clear!!!!!! Whole day WASTED

Assembly instructions are not the clearest. Laid out all parts and verified correct quantities. If you follow instructions it leaves out various steps which causes you to double back. After assembly, you have to triple back to remove bolts to install cover. So plan for extra time and have extra hands.
