It provides excellent wear protection that promotes engine durability and is suitable for heavy equipment used for construction, mining, or quarry operations. Q: What????? The ash content question answered by “Shell team” of 8 ???? The website claims T1 is in fact 1% Ashe content, which is it ? as this is a key recommendation from Detroit diesel requiring less than 1%

The Best Oil For 2 Cycle Detroit Diesel Engines

We still operate two Detroit Diesel 4-53T, 2 Cycle Engines since 1979. They Just Won't Quit and mine operate exclusively on Straight 40W. We used Pennzoil SAE 40 for many years but 5-6 years ago switched to Shell Rotella SAE 40 because the Pennzoil is harder to find. The old Detroits just love it and never show any signs or wear.
Yes, I recommend this product.
