Rated 5 out of 5 by from better for diesel tractor used a lot of different oils for my tractors and the multi - grade gathers up to much atmospheric mositure and the oil gets milky , the straight h d 30 wiegh rotella goes farther between oil changes so you have less down time due to repairs and oil changes spend more seat time

How much zinc is in rotella t1 sae 30 oil

Asked by: Massey383
Hi Massey, About a 1000 ppm of zinc in Rotella T1 30 and 40. The multigrade product such as Rotella T4 15W-40 are often used for higher zinc requirements and have 1200 ppm. Thanks for using Rotella! Keith

I own a 02 Ford F150 w/Triton 5.7 engine. Is this oil ok to use in these Triton gasoline engines?

Asked by: Marko1962
Hi Marko, We recommend you use the oil specified in your owner's manual. I believe that should be SAE 5W-20, but I'm showing 5.4L?

Is this oil acceptable for use in lawnmowers, lawn tractors and rototillers where SAE 30 W oil is recommended?

Asked by: rjrv
This can be used, however the manufacturer recommends using the Pennzoil SAE 30W.

Is this suitable for a Detroit 671

Asked by: J671
Hi, Rotella T1 SAE 30 and SAE 40 products meet the Detroit Diesel requirements for the Series 71 two cycle engines. We'd expect you would use the SAE 40 grade most of the time, in warm weather. Keith

Our 1967 Ford 5000 diesel tractor says to use SAE 20W for 32 to 90 degree weather (fits our situation); SAE10W for 10 to 40 degrees and SAE 30W for over 75 degrees. I can not find 20W. Am I better with 30W or a multi-vis 10W/30 or ? High zinc oil?

Asked by: darreld
Rotella T1 30 will be the best fluid to use.
