The Push-N-Load 3-Blade Replacement Trimmer Head by Shakespeare is a durable blade trimmer head with nylon blades designed to cut through light brush and thick grass. The head is made from carefully crafted glass-filled nylon for superior durability and abrasion resistance, it can withstand the extreme demand of any job. The powerful serrated nylon edges on the blades allow you to cut through thick weeds with ease. with its Push-N-Load technology, blades can be loaded and reloaded in seconds. The worst trimmer head I've ever used

What a complete waste of money. Constantly jams when cutting through tall brush because it doesn't fit flush with a Makita trimmer, and god help you if you lose the tool to remove the head. Because the way it is designed makes removing it with conventional tools near impossible.

I bought this to clear some large weeds that have grown during our rainy winter here in Az. After 30 minutes of using it, 12 blades have broken on the weeds. This product is NOT durable at all. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!! HORRIBLE QUALITY!!!!!!

Works great on my ECHO GT-225 trimmer

I was looking for a brush cutting head for my ECHO but it appears that ECHO doesn't make one. I read a review elsewhere that someone used this on their ECHO GT-225 so I thought I would try it. It works very well and is easy to replace the string head with this just by removing the nut and using this without any other modifications or adapters. It is very simple to replace the blades. They didn't break on medium pencil sized saplings but dulled which is to be expected. I am very pleased with this product.
