The Shakespeare Auto Winder II Bump Feed Trimmer Head is a durable pivoting line bump trimmer head with Auto Winding technology that eliminates the need for spools. The trimmer head is made from carefully crafted glass-filled nylon for superior durability and abrasion resistance, so that it can withstand the extreme demand of any job. with its Auto Winding technology, you never have to open the head, simply line up the arrows on the bump knob, insert the line, and crank. Giving you the continuous cutting benefit of a bump head without having to open the head or deal with tangling spools. That means cutting more with less downtime to get the job done faster, leaving you more time to do the things you want.

never buy this

Very poor. Only lasted one line refill then the crappy plastic piece on the end broke off. Line feed mechanism bound up and the bump feed design is fully plastic and of poor quality. Thanks China for another piece of junk.

Do not buy this

No durability, string ends up binding together on the reel causing line to break, I bought the string .095 Shakespeare brand and it breaks just cutting grass. I used it on a gas trimmer against my dewalt trimmer head and dewalt trimmer line that's 10 years old and the dewalt out performed this product. Do not waste your money. The durability of other products outweigh having to stop cutting every 5 minutes to redo the string on this trimmer head.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor quality junk

Poor quality junk..the cap on the bump feed head fell off after only 2-3 times of use..could not find it..called Shakespeare for replacement part...no answer..so there is your customer service and replacement parts!!!
