Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked great the first time My Boston has flea allergies & without flea preventative he’s MISERABLY SCOOTING IN CIRCLES on the floor or biting at his paws. So last year after several Vet visits that’s when I learned about dogs having flea allergies even if they don’t have fleas, it only takes one flea to jump on & right back off & then the allergy EXPLODES! I’ve had dogs before but none with a flea allergy! So the Vet tells me about the Seresto collar, I buy & put it on & I could tell a HUGE difference the VERY next day! So almost 8 months later I buy another Seresto collar & put it on but after @ 2 weeks I noticed my dog scooting/itching & I’m surprised bc I just put a new collar on!??? So he continued itching/scooting so I thought maybe the collar was a dud & I had already thrown everything away so I had to buy another! It’s been on him for a month now & he’s still displaying the allergy symptoms!!! SO AFTER A ONE TIME USE OF SERESTO my Boston has obviously became immune to it!??? I had the same problem years ago with Frontline on my dogs. They became immune after @ 2 years, switched to K-9 Advantix which worked but I would still find ticks periodically...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I have used this collar for several years on my dogs and I love it, It kills fleas and ticks great, I haven't seen a flea on either dog since I started using them, if you do see a tick it is dead. They have had no side effects from the collar, unlike other topical products that i used prior, and there is no odor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I bought this two weeks ago and have been so happy with the purchase. We typically buy the expensive pills from the vet, but we wanted to look for a less expensive alternative. This product works so much better than any other flea collar I've ever purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can't beat Seresto Our dogs love to play outside, go to the dog parks and go hiking - occasionally swimming. We have several dogs so it is important to keep away the fleas and ticks. Seresto collars do the job very well an give us peace of mind that our dogs are protected. Thanks Bayer for a great product.

Can this be used on a 6lb dog? I don't see a minimum lb.

Asked by: Plumcrazy898
The small dog collar is for dogs up to 18lbs so as long as the dog is 7 weeks of age or older, they can use the Seresto collar on a 6lb dog.

Would this collar be appropriate for a 5 pound  Chihuahua?  Wha about an  Italian greyhound?  He has sensitive skin.

Asked by: Jill35
Yes, it will work for both animals. If signs of sensitivity occur, remove collar and bathe you pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs persist, or become more severe, consult a veterinarian immediately.

Is it okay/effective to remove at bedtime and don again in the morning?

Asked by: Mkatie
No we do not recommend removing at bedtime. The only time the collar should be removed is for bathing/ grooming. Removing the product may reduce the effectiveness of the active ingredient.
