The Sentry PurrScriptions Plus Flea and Tick Topical Treatment for Cats Over 5 lb. is formulated with an adulticide called Etofenprox. When applied monthly, this flea control for cats kills adult fleas, ticks, and repels mosquitoes, including the mosquito that carries West Nile virus, for up to 1 month. This flea prevention for cats also includes pyriproxyfen, an insect growth regulator that kills flea eggs and larvae for up to 3 months per application. That's five-way protection with this handy flea control! Comes in a 3 ct. package.

This product states that it kills fleas, flea eggs and larvae. I have two indoor cats that got a couple of fleas due to a lapse in my dog's Frontline treatment. I typically don't have to treat the cats at all. I bought this product to kill off what was a minor flea problem. Here it is, two weeks later and my house is infested. Everywhere the cats lay down they leave a mess of flea eggs, even though I have been combing them out. I am covered in bites. I lay down on my couch and can feel/see the fleas climbing on me. I would never buy this product again and would not recommend it to my worst enemy.

who knows if it works, the reviews scared me!

just applied it about an hour ago, and then I read the reviews on this and IMMEDIATELY washed it off! Last thing I need is another vet bill because of a sick cat! I'm good! I just washed their backs off, and dried them with Dawn dish soap. There was no side effects that I saw, personally. It was on an hour before I wiped them down to remove the stuff from their coat. quick dry my foot! my cats had greasy spots on their next an hour in! never see that with what the vet usually gives. Best hope I'm not taking a cat to a vet with this, I will send the bill to these people

This product works great on our long hair cat. We apply in every 30 days and since using the product we have not had any flea or tick problem. I does leave a small residue spot on the long coat in between the shoulders but after a week it goes away
