Prevent turf damage with Scotts GrubEx1 Season Long Grub Killer. A single application of this granular insecticide can kill and prevent grubs for up to 4 months. This grub killer also kills caterpillars (armyworm), chinchbugs, May/June beetles, and more (as listed), and can help control Japanese beetle infestations when applied annually. Apply Scotts GrubEx1 Season Long Grub Killer to a dry lawn in the spring or early summer to kill grubs as they develop. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 1/2. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 5 1/2. For Scotts Wizz, use a setting of 3 3/4. Water in thoroughly to activate. People and pets may re-enter the lawn after it has dried. The maximum number of applications for this product is one per year. One 28.7 lb. bag of Scotts GrubEx1 Season Long Grub Killer covers 10,000 sq. ft.

Best grub killer

Scotts GrubEX is the best product for grub killing. Last year my lawn was horrible. I had so many issues using a lawn service company to treat my lawn. They ruined it. This year I decided to do it myself. We used scotts grub killer. It was so easy to use. And very safe to use on my lawn. My lawn looks so much better already. The bags design is perfect to unload the product. It absorbs easily into my grass. We had no issues at all. Definitely recommend this product for everyone that has grubs ans lawn issues.

Good for prevention

This bag covers 5000sq ft. Following the instruction on the bag, I used a Scotts spreader set at 3 and 1/2 and I ended up having about 10 to 15% left over. I lowered the setting down to 2 and 1/2 and went back over the lawn to kind of even out the coverage with the remaining amount. The granules are very small and fine which helps it spread evenly and easily. I haven’t noticed it killing active grubs but it has helped keep the population down later in the season.

It does the job!

The results are great and no bites from bugs on either one of my plants. I would suggest doing this once a month no more. I store The rest of the products in a dark cool area. Not much of a mess prefer to use the equipment that uses to spread on the yard. The product is a dark grainy substance. Easy to shake around throughout the yard.

Great Product

The consistency of the product is very thorough. The packaging was nicely sealed and made for nice application. It seems to have pretty strong durability against grubs so far and a little dosage really does go a long way.
