This is the world's most stable 18 foot multifunction tower! Made by stacking three of ScaffoldMart's patented multifunction units with extra-long 23 inch siderail cuffs. All other manufacturers use 18 inch cuffs, providing significantly less stability, especially when stacked. It includes the patented 3-4 Guardrail System which allows you to remove one side for unimpeded access to work surfaces. This guardrail features square fittings where it connects to the scaffold, providing a more precise and stable connection than conventional designs. Additionally, it's equipped with a set of four Three Stack Outriggers, named so because they are required equipment for stacking three sets of bakers scaffolding (multifunction) for a maximum standing height of 18 feet. They extend the base dimensions of the scaffolding and provide the stability needed to build a tower of this size. Additionally, these outriggers pivot for adjustment, allowing the use of four outriggers even in close proximity to a wall. Eighteen feet indicates this tower's maximum allowable standing height, it is important to note any time one is standing at 72 inches or above guardrails and outriggers are required equipment.

One person install, they need upgraded walkboards

So I needed scaffolding to reach a 23 foot tall ceiling to fix some lights in our house. (Yeah high ceilings) These baker style scaffoldings fit the bill. With the out riggers on (and they are very much needed with more than 2 levels stacked) I felt safer.
The scaffolding is narrow and is easier for one person to put together/take down and the compromise is stability. That is why I say use the outriggers.
I will say tue wallboards DO need the doors that allow you to stay inside the scaffolding to climb up and down. If you don’t have the walkboards with the doors you will have to lower yourself down and climb up by swinging around the outside of the scaffolding which I did not like that at all. I will have to buy at least two of the walkboards with the doors eventually myself when I can. I did contact the company and they responded quickly and offered to sell me the upgraded boards. My opinion is that a three tier set of scaffolding should come with at least two of the upgraded walk boards anyway. I didn’t feel safe swinging around the edge of the scaffolding.
Anyway they are easy to modify to different heights and feel substantial once put together with the included pins. I am satisfied with my purchase but it looks like I will need to put out some more money to upgrade my set.
