Not what you want

Hard to get to line up the boards even with the pre drilled screw holes.
Cheap wood. Had to paint it to give it some protection. IF you are in a hurry and just need something short term this might work but to me it is just not a quality product I would want. Actually almost too small for my chickens.

For smaller chickens only

I did not realize at the time I purchased this nesting box that it would only appeal to smaller chickens. I have large Brahmas, Jersey Giants, and Wyandottes in my flock. The design makes it difficult for birds to enter the small compartment unless it's placed on a larger flat surface that allows them to land first and then walk in. Other than that, it's reasonably priced and fairly easy to put together.

It went together fairly easily with just a screwdriver but my hens are taking a little time with something new-not this box's fault!
