The Rugged Ranch Galvanized Pasture Livestock Feeder is constructed completely of galvanized steel. Made with 1 5/8 in.", 15 gauge galvanized pipe, this livestock hay feeder weighs in at 207 lb. with a 6 in." deep feed pan that is 32 in." off the ground, your feed will be safe from other barnyard animals. It has a wide base for stability and has a heavy duty construction to hold up to larger animals. The large livestock feed trough has a pre-galvanized catch basin and a hot galvanized hay rack. The 5' Feeder can be assembled in about 15 minutes by using only 8 bolts! This feeder is great for horses, cattle, llamas, alpacas and any other large livestock. Q: I need a feeder for two horses and two goats, if used without the legs will it work also for goats?
5 years ago- A: I think it would create a probable hazard for a horse’s legs if sat on the ground without the table legs under it. Horses look for things to get hurt on. If the horses and goats get along really well, you could attach a step platform on the two ends for the goats to jump up on to access the hay. Goats like to jump on things anyway, so would not have any issue with jumping up on a platform to reach the hay.5 years agoHelpful?

8 years ago- A: According to the vendor, this is a free standing pasture feeder and doesn't need to be secured down because of the wide base. Horses may push it around a bit, but can't knock it over due to the wide base8 years agoHelpful?
