Royal Wing from Tractor Supply is the worst supplier of bird seed of any of the big box sellers. They are consistently higher priced by 20%-30% on equivalent seeds (like sunflowers) than other suppliers. Their mixes are full of cheap/trash grains like milo, corn, red millet, wheat, flaxseed, and canary grass seed. They also employ the shady practice of showing a picture of the "ingredients" and "conventiently" not showing the trash grain in the picture (but it is on the list on the bag). Regarding this bag of "Royal Wing Fruit and Nut Mix Wild Bird Food" - I knew going in there would be almost no fruit and nuts in the mix, but I was hoping for white millet. Nope - 99% black oil sunflower seed in the shell. I could have purchased a bag of that by itself for less than half the price. I gambled and lost. I will be returning.

Contents are not as advertised

Lots if good things in here. The squirrels and wild birds love it. A little pricey but we mix it with some extra sunflower seed to give them a little treat,

Encourages a wide range of birds, from finches to woodpeckers. High quality food for outdoor birds and we have a count of over 40 species of seed eaters. We feed all year long.
