Item Information

The Roundup 190327 Backpack Sprayers does the work of a piston or diaphragm backpack sprayer. The exclusive internal No Leak Pump keeps your back and clothing dry. The paddles keep liquids, powders, and water-soluble solutions mixed, in solution, and ready to spray. Also the pump features Viton seals that can be easily changed within minutes without tools (up to 7x faster than the leading competitor). The premium shut-off offers a comfort grip, lockable trigger to prevent hand fatigue, and a removable in-line filter to reduce clogging. The Roundup 190327 Backpack Sprayer is capable of spraying up to 150 PSI for those hard-to-reach areas. The included pressure regulator maintains a low, continuous 25 PSI (great for spraying herbicides and weed killers). The foldable pump handle reverses for left- or right-handed use, and the tank has a built-in carry handle with wand storage.

  • With adjustable padded straps, waist belt and chest cinch strap, the backpack ensures comfort while you work
  • Multiple nozzles are included for ultimate versatility: poly adjustable nozzle (enables stream to cone patterns), wide flat fan nozzle (red, 0.25 GPM, angled at 70 degrees), narrow flat fan nozzle (yellow, 0.15 GPM, angled at 30 degrees), and foaming nozzle
  • Also accepts TeeJet nozzles

Roundup 190327 4 Gal. No Leak Pump Backpack Sprayer is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sprayer! I really like the roundup sprayer. The only suggestion I would make would be to add a back cushion. It is a little uncomfortable for the back having the sprayer pushing/rubbing on the back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home owner Easy to use! Adjusts well to ride comfortably on your back! Simple to use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I use these commercially in my business. Each of my sprayers gets filled 4-10 times a day everyday with very abrasive spray mixture. They last for 2+ years each. Previously had used So-Lows but got tired of the current low quality of them, drippy pistons and rarely got more than 3 months use out of one. Been using the Round-Ups for 4 years now . Very happy with them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Straps broke after 1 season We’ve had this sprayer for a single season. Never been abused. The straps of the pack decided to both give away in one afternoon. Very disappointed .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Check the box. No WAND INSIDE!! Bought two. Went home (quite a drive)! And no wand in either box. Company must lack quality control. Unsure if sprayer works but pretty dissatisfied at this point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really like it I initially bought the Ground Works backpack sprayer. It broke the second time I used it. I added $30 to the refund price and bought this one hoping it’d be better. I use these sprayers to put insect repellant on my cattle. I needed more capacity and longer reach than the little 2 gallon hand sprayers offer. Plus the backpack design is much more efficient. This sprayer has a good design and the straps allow one to keep it centered on their back - important on uneven ground. The pump handle pivots so you can store it out of the way or keep it handy to keep the tank pressurized. The straight stream nozzle has a good long range and can be adjusted to a wider/fiber pattern as needed. Comes with a couple of extra nozzles and washers. All in all, I’m very pleased. Some reviews suggest the sprayer may develop issues over time, but with a five year warranty, I’m not too concerned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor pump I have had two of these sprayers in less than two years. Cleaned after every use and all other cleaning according to care instructions. The "pump" simply stops functioning (no pressure) after a couple of months. Pretty sorry excuse for a sprayer of this cost. Save your money and buy 4 or 5 of the one gallon sprayers for less money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from cheap plastic clasps broke on first use I filled this sprayer for the fist time and when I went to put it on my back the plastic clasps that hold the shoulder straps to the frame broke. I was able to still use the sprayer enough to empty it and it seemed to spray fine but you have to pump almost constantly to keep it under high pressure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sprays Good, However... I worked for a spraying company full time for 3 years and still part time and have used a number of different brands of back packs and as far as spraying ability goes, this backpack is great. I only use the widespread tips and thankfully, unlike others, this one came with one so that is another plus. One of the best handles too! However, the lid, does not seem to fit properly which causes a major headache. Maybe I got a dud, but if enough people give reviews, only time will tell if this is a common problem or if I did just get a one-off situation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so great Seems fine, you have a whole strap system to strap it on with, shoulder straps, belt bit and a chest bit, a little excessive I think. The nozzles are not ajustable in any way you get three choices and that's it. So far I've used it twice as it was the only one they had in stock. Seems homeowner grade fine for very light use, my other sprayer from a different corny lasted 10 plus years I doubt this will last as long. Will keep you updated here as to how it fairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from assorted nozzles are a great feature I bought this sprayer for foliage spraying on giant pumpkin plants. I used it twice a week up to October with no problems. Look forward to another great growing season in 2015.

I have used round up, in the proper ratio, can I rinse the tank out and spray fertilizer with it,, if so, how many times do I have to run water thru the tank...

Asked by: elmerT
Yes, you can rinse it out and use another chemical. To thoroughly rinse it, follow these steps: 1. Fill the tank with cool, clean tap water (never use hot water). Replace the cap and tighten securely. 2. Agitate the tank to rinse the chemical from the tank walls. 3. Empty the contents into gravel or bare soil. 4. Refill the tank with clean tap water. 5. Pressurize the tank and spray the water through the wand and nozzle for at least 30 seconds. 7. Empty the contents into gravel or bare soil. 8. We suggest repeating steps 4 - 7 at least 2-3 times (or until thoroughly cleaned. 9. Remove nozzle and rinse thoroughly.

How easy is it to pump up pressure while on your back. Or is it even possible or do you have to remove. Also how long does preassure last?

Asked by: Berry15
The backpack sprayer is designed to pump the handle while you are wearing it on your back. It is very easy to pump. It's hard to say how long the pressure lasts as it depends on how much solution you are applying. You will be pumping as you walk along your yard. We can answer all your questions and put your mind at ease if you would like to contact us at 1-800-311-9903. We look forward to your call Berry15.

Hello Tomtat. The distance is dependent on what product you are trying to spray. When fully pressurized to 150 psi, the backpack sprayer can produce a stream up to 30 ft.
