Plus, the rollers, pins, bushings and side plates are shot peened to impart metal fatigue resistance. The master link comes included with the roller chain for your convenience.

Q: Wondering if this chain would be a good replacement for 420. Its for a 8hp tiller. Only to pull front wheels. I know its wider than the 420 by 1/16". Or would side to side be to much?

- A: I would not recommend to replace with the 40 chain. If they are switching all products that will fit the 40 chain then that is fine but 420 and 40 chain do not have the same specifications.4 years agoHelpful?

- A: The 40 roller chain comes in 10ft lengths. (240 pitches) If you're needing 90 pitches, you could purchase the 10ft length and a chain breaker to break the chain to the length that is needed. (3.75ft).8 years agoHelpful?

Needed this chain to replace broken snowblower

Chain worked great. Needed this chain and Tractor supply had it on hand for pickup. Also bought the chain breaker tool from tractor Supply to size the chain for my snowblower. When I ran the snowblower the new chain ran smooth and the snowblower has easily cruised through the first few storms this year. I expect years of service from this chain. 10 foot length will provide me with a few spare chains too.

Would have given a 5 star rating, button foot of chain only came with one master link and it wasn't of very good quality and broke not long after installing it.
