The Riverstone Shade Cloth System is designed to offer easy to use, shade producing cloth that is UV stable and will last for several years in the hottest environments. All our woven shade cloths are proudly made from Black woven polypropylene strands in the USA. Each shade cloth comes with brass grommets for securing the shade cloth. the grommets are placed approximately 2 feet apart around the perimeter of the each shade cloth. the percentage listed indicates the amount of shade that is being provided. This also reflects how tightly woven the shade cloths are.5 year warranty

Q: What is the finished size? many tarps/shade cloth with grommets list the amount of material used rather than the finished sizes. So is the material cut to 10ftx10ft or is the finished size 10x10 ft?

- A: This item is water resistant. Not waterproof. Because it is 80% shade protection it is not solid which means some light and water will be able to penetrate as well.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Desiring to hang vertically attached to the south and west sides of a 10x10 dog kennel (chain-link fence style). For the sake of the dogs' comfort in hot summer, and for stability in high winds, will the 80% weave allow air to pass through?

- A: Hello, Air will pass through but at 80% it will be greatly reduced. In my experience customers tend to put the fencing on the top of dog kennels so air can flow more freely.8 years agoHelpful?
Q: Product description shows them coming in a 10x10 piece but when purchasing, it asks to select a size. Can you confirm if item will ship in multiple 10x10 pieces or one piece to fit the size selected?

I bought this shade tarp to provide sun protection for my horse. It arrived in a few weeks and I am satisfied with the quality of material and craftsmanship. It was easy to put up on my own and I made a frame out of wood post and 2x4's. My horse wasn't too sure about it in the beginning but starting to use it more and more each day. I live in SC where the sun and heat are intense and I needed something that provided shade along with open air flow.

We hung Sunday. We are so pleased. Our porch faves west and was always to hit to enjoy in the evening. The cloths dropped the temperature drastically!! Easy to hang. Very pleased
