Q: Are there tips to minimize shrinkage? Shirt was washed in cold water as recommended. It shrunk significantly even though it was not put in the dryer. The sleeves are now short. Plz help as I bought another shirt & don't want it to shrink excessively.

- A: The vendor advised that with the nature of this 100% cotton heavy flannel fabric, the shrinkage should not exceed 5%. And, per the shrinkage testing tolerance for this product, the testing records have all passed at below 5% for this style delivered for the F’24 season. The customer stated that it shrunk “significantly” upon washing in cold water which the vendor would like to verify if the shrinkage was actually more than 5%. If the customer followed the recommended care instruction of “MACHINE WASH COLD SEPARATELY, ONLY NON-CHLORINE BLEACH WHEN NEEDED, TUMBLE DRY LOW, COOL IRON IF NEEDED” then the shrinkage should have been kept below 5%, the vendor believes. To provide more specific care instruction, vendor recommends below: MACHINE WASH COLD (WATER TEMP BELOW 30℃/86℉) TUMBLE DRY LOW (TEMP BELOW 60℃/140℉) COOL IRON (TEMP BELOW 100℃/212℉)a year agoHelpful?

Solid, heavy weight fabric, sturdy construction (I know a thing or two about work clothes) and a sale price that I feel a bit guilty about. The problem is that the colors and fit are too nice for the job. So I'm still looking for a winter work shirt!

This shirt is definitely heavy weight. Love the color and the fit was great! The only issue I have is it definitely has to be ironed. (I hate ironing, lol) I would buy it again!
