After an extended period of time the outer coating can deteriorate in spots (due to chewing and weathering) allowing the exposed inner cable to fray and ultimately break, but it’s tough enough to keep our big puppy from breaking loose before that happens.

WORST EXPENSIVE PURCHASE, DOES NOT WORK!!!

-100,000,000,000,000,000, PLUS!!!!!!! THESE ARE JUST POCKET RIP OFFS!!! I DONT WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY THOUSANDS IVE SPENT ON THESE AND EVEN WENT TO MEIJERS AND BOUGHT THERES FOR 250 LB DOGS AND YET THEY LAST A COUPLE WEEKS BEFORE BREAKING AND FALLING APART. I LITERALLY JUST TIED UP A LITTLE FRICKING CHIHUAHUA, A FRICKING TOY CHIHUAHUA TO THIS 150 LB LEAD ONLY BEEN USED FOR LESS THAN 3 WEEKS AND HE SNAPPED IT IN HALF, A FRICKING CHIHUAHUA!!!! MY BEAGLE DOES IT ALL THE TIME TOO, I CANT EVEN COUNT HOW MANY SHE HAS BROKEN. And TSC REFUSES TO RETURN ANYTHING SO ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND GAS I AINT GOT. ITS HIGHWAY ROBBERY AND THEFT AND YET CUZ THEY ALL MAKE BILLIONS THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. DO NOT RECOMMEND, FIND THE OLD FASHIONED OLD CHAINS AND USE THOSE AND THATS WHAT IM GONNA GO FIND CUZ THESE SUCK!!!!
