Q: Can dogs digest raw hide and / or should dogs consume raw hide at all, are these just for chewing on?

- A: Thank you very much for the question as we know that many people share this concern particularly with some of the things that are shared on the Internet. Rawhide is absolutely fully digestible by dogs and it is safe for them to consume it as they are likely to do so when they chew on it and break off small pieces. We've worked with any number of veterinarians and they've helped us conduct tests with consumers such as yourself to show that rawhide is digestible. In fact many products that say they are digestible or rawhide-free are actually less easy for dogs to digest than rawhide. We sell literally millions and millions of rawhide pieces a year and we never have complaints or issues with dogs being able to digest it. Dogs have been eating rawhide in the US for decades without any problems. not the best quality

Great price and kept my dogs happy but it their tummy was not happy. I have a pit and gsd and it caused diarrhea in both, and they only had a small amount of the bone.

The product was fresh and our dogs loved them. No slimy after bites and my dogs had no stomach issues. Boxers usually have sensitive stomachs but neither had any issues! Will buy again!
