Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great chew bone Keeps your chewer busy, our lab loves working on the knots first and great to keep their mouths busy when they are young and teething.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be without these!! These are literally the only bones my dogs will eat! My mini Aussie never used to touch bones and he now steals my older dog's bone when he's not looking and a small snarling match ensues! They don't last too long is one of the complaints though.. my older dog is a chewer and they just don't go the distance. Additionally, small pieces come off and my dog has had a few times of coughing back up what has gotten stuck. But otherwise, they are great.

Can dogs digest raw hide and / or should dogs consume raw hide at all, are these just for chewing on?

Asked by: Apollo 2019
Thank you very much for the question as we know that many people share this concern particularly with some of the things that are shared on the Internet. Rawhide is absolutely fully digestible by dogs and it is safe for them to consume it as they are likely to do so when they chew on it and break off small pieces. We've worked with any number of veterinarians and they've helped us conduct tests with consumers such as yourself to show that rawhide is digestible. In fact many products that say they are digestible or rawhide-free are actually less easy for dogs to digest than rawhide. We sell literally millions and millions of rawhide pieces a year and we never have complaints or issues with dogs being able to digest it. Dogs have been eating rawhide in the US for decades without any problems. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to call the number on the package and we will gladly share more information.

Do these bones stain carpets or rugs due to the beef basting?

Asked by: Glm867
Basting should be water soluble but color transfer may occur and it is recommended not to give your dog this product on carpet or furniture.
