My three farm dogs rejected this food for over two weeks. Wouldn't touch the stuff. Just found out the same brand had a major recall just a few months ago.

We purchase the Retriever brand dog food on a monthly basis to feed our dogs. While this product does offer a good value option, it is not our dogs' favorite variety. They will leave this food sitting untoched in their dishes unless I add something to it to enhance the flavor. These dogs are not picky eaters and I have no issue when feeding them the other flavor varieties of the Retriever brand. Unfortunately, sometimes this is all that's available so we do still purchase it in these situations based on price/value alone.

My dog Max just loves this brand, actually I've given him both, This variety and the chicken variety, He seems to favor This one more.... Max says your dog has got to try it also,. I walk Max around town a lot, He seems to be putting on more muscle in his shoulders lately, I'm thinking it's because of the Retriever brand dog food 🐕
