Q: Why is my dog able to put his feet through the bottom of the crate? This doesn't appear safe. Also when I lock the crate, the lock is loose- is this how it is supposed to be. It is not tight when I slide the lock.

Seriously the easiest dog crate I’ve ever used, I love how it comes with a divider as well and two doors. It makes it easier to break down and put in the back of my car if I need to and then quickly set it back up if you’re looking for a good dog crate this is great I have a puppy she is nine weeks she’s a cane goal so she’s naturally bigger and this fits her perfectly are use the divider as well and there’s still room for her I definitely would recommend this dog crate if you’re looking for something very easy to use. The quality is great too the metal is not easily burnt or dented it’s very sturdy I’ve had no issues with it.

I have a Midwest crate and needed another for our new puppy. The price of the Midwest has increased considerably. This Retriever crate is the same price I paid for my original Midwest, so I expected the same quality. The quality is so disappointing. There are wires sticking out, bent wires, racked doors and it's not sturdy at all. Will be returning and already ordered another Midwest.

Worked well as temp pen for hens.

Not used for dog. This was purchased to temporarily keep a hen and three new chicks inside and it worked really well. Just had to tarp the lower half to prevent escapes. It unfolds for assembly and I really like this feature. Did it alone and found it easy to do. Has an internal separator too if you need that. It’s heavy but manageable. As a chicken owner I like this as a
tool to separate sick or new birds.

Good crate!

Good crate! We unfortunately have to upgrade to a bigger one now but while we’ve used this one it’s in great shape like new still. Only thing is the latch bars are straight not a curve at the ends to hold them in place so my dog can open them lol
