This gate was perfect for what we needed. Sturdy and looks nice too.

I purchased this online and had it shipped to pick up at my local store. I thought it would be a quick next truck shipment, I was wrong! It took almost 2 weeks to arrive. I have a 54 inch wide opening so I knew I would need wood blocks to have this fit, but to expand this gate to its full 51 inch capacity just makes it extremely flimsy. I wouldn't recommend more than a 48 inch opening. Additionally I am very unhappy that this gate appears to be cheaply made with a thin cheap plastic handle and door latch. Who knows how long that will last? I didnt want to spend alot of money to keep a new puppy from areas in my home, figuring I won't need the gate for very long... But now I think I would have been better off to spent more for a better product. We will see how long it lasts.

I have an extra wide hallway and this gate made my life a lot easier. Got new puppy and older dog didn’t like her much and wanted some alone time. So older dog gets her time alone and I can still access that part of the house with ease and looks good at the same time.
