We purchased this in the Spring. I love this fire pit except for the amount of rust it already has. Is anyone else experiencing this too? Or did we get a faulty paint job?

Have had a grand total of 2 fires in this pit. When we do a firepit, we have people over and burn for hours. This pit seemed heavy duty and we were thrilled when we found it. However, while cleaning it out after just our second pit , I found a large portion of the bottom plate seam had pulled away from the body and another spot where a smaller split has begun. Very disappointed as God know ls where the receipt is and we are now stuck with an overpriced and failing pit. I'm afraid if we continue to use it the whole bottom plate will collapse.

Rusty firepit
a month ago
I prepaid for the firepit and picked it up. It was put straight into my car from the SLO tractor supply. I was told it is just dirty and dusty from being outside. When I renoved it from my car the next day it was clear I was taken advantage of. The firepit was very rusted with paint chipping off multiple places. I reached out to TSC hoping they would make it right. It has been 2 weeks.

Wood Burning Fire Pit

Ordered the fire pit for delivery mid-afternoon and Tractor Supply delivered it around 6pm the same day. I was not expecting it to be delivered so soon and it was a nice surprise. The fire pit is sturdy and we really like the vents on the side that put out some heat for those sitting around it.

Good fire pit

I bought this 2 years ago from Tractor supply and it is still in great shape, even after sitting outside for this amount of time. One I bought from Lowe's barely lasted a year before rusting out and falling apart.
