Rated 5 out of 5 by from Red Lion 2" Trash Pump. Perfect fit. Direct replacement for a pump we have been using for 3 years. Exactly the same, very reasonable price, up and running in minutes, back to work. And in stock. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trash Pump Pump works great. Used it for a number of jobs so far. Took the trash - small granules in water like washed sand. empties 175 gallons in just a couple of minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A TRUE workhorse! I ran it for almost 2 weeks straight and it never missed a beat. I hadn’t heard of this brand before but I’ll remember it now. You won’t be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations Wow. I really can't believe this little pump performed like it does. I used this to pump over 2 million gallons from creek to a new tank. Ran this pump non stop for 24 hours a day for 9 days. Never missed a beat. The creek is approximately 30 feet below the tank level so the demand exceeded the recommended input draw level at 26'. It primed and started pumping in less than 10 minutes. I debated to buy it due to off brand label but at 1/4 the price thought it was worth taking the risk and glad I did. I would highly recommend this pump.

I want to irrigate and 800’ ft produce bed On mostly level ground with a one inch pipe with 50 sprinklers yielding .5 gpm at 40 psi. Which gas pump so I need?

Asked by: Ipmaynard
Thanks for your question. Twenty five gallons per minute creates a lot of friction loss in a 1” pipe. So it will be very important to know the length of pipe to adjust for friction loss. Along with length of pipe I will need to know the vertical difference from the water level to the highest point in the one inch discharge pipe. Can you call me at 888.885.9254. we can review your set up and provide best pump option.

Will this be able to pump sandy, mucky, pond sludge up a few feet and out about 20 feet?

Asked by: Deltoid
Thank you for your question regarding Red Lion Engine Powered pumps. A slurry of particles suspended in water will pass through with the water. However, when there are enough particles to make that water into a mud or sludge the flow will stop because the pump won’t be able to move it. If you have additional questions please call our tech support at 888-956-0000.

Is I have1600’ of 1” ads plastic pipe will this pump work to pump water through 1600’up 40’ in elevation?

Asked by: Kbplaza
Thank you for your question regarding Red Lion Engine Powered Transfer Pumps. The answer to your question is that yes it can do it but the flow would be very low, likely less than 5gpm with very little pressure. Please call me if you have additional questions or if you want to review your set up with me to get the most performance out of your pump. 888-956-0000.

i'm looking to water a 1/2 acre remote wildlife food plot if i drive a 2'' sand point down 25ft would this pump be able to hook up to it and irrigate my crops or do i need another pump if so what would you recommend

Asked by: midwestbuckhunter
Thank you for your question. This pump will work with sand points. You will need to make sure the sand point can provide enough water to support the pump. This pump can pull up to 150 GPM from the well depending on your elevation. Your sand point will need to provide at least 150GPM. You will also need to make sure the depth to water in the sand point is 25' or less. If you have more questions please call me at 888-956-0000. Or visit Redlionproducts.com.

I'm cleaning out a 5000 gallon pond and it has some rocks at the bottom. Will this pickup the rocks, and what if a rock does get picked up, will it ruin the equipment? My rocks are like 1" in size or better. (River rocks)

Asked by: ABAnderson
The rocks could cause damage if they are sucked into the pump. Especially larger ones. My recommendation would be to put a screen on the suction side of the hose to keep as much out of the pump as possible.

What would the flow be at 40 psi and 0 head , would like to use this to wet down dusty road . would be using an old fire truck and a 10 ft boom with 10 nozzles rated at 4 gpm @40 psi, would this handle it?

Asked by: Dave B 50
Thanks for your question. With 10 nozzles at 4GPM the flow would be 40gpm which reduces the pressure to 30psi.
