This sprayer pump utilizes a 60 PSI pressure setting and REMCO's signature sealed 12 volt electric motor allowing the pump to operate in the harshest environments. The 5500 Series is Made in the U.S.A and engineered with Professional Grade components able to withstand long and continuous duty cycles of Agricultural spray applications. Utilizing heavy 14 AWG wire leads the REMCO 5500 Series has low operating temperatures and is extremely efficient. This 5.3 GPM pump's materials of construction are compatible with most common agricultural spray chemical including herbicides, fertilizers, and insecticides. - A: Thanks for your question, this pump is not meant for high pressure. This is an on demand pump with a pressure switch that shuts the pump off once 60 PSI is reached. For optimum performance this pump should operate with in 20-50 PSI pressure range. Q: Can you adjust operating pressure?

- A: Thanks for your question, operating pressure is determined by the components in your system such as hose size, nozzle sizes, inlet and outlet plumbing etc. Changing those components will change your operating pressure. However the shut off pressure can be adjusted by turning the 1/16th" allen head set screw on the pressure switch. Do not turn more than 3 full turn in either direction, turn clockwise to increase the shut off and turn it counter clockwise to decrease shut off pressure. Bought one and it worked fine for occasional use in 3 week's time, then stopped working. Returned it for another one, which worked fine the first use, on the second use two days later it also quit.
