The Producer's Pride Castration Kit comes with all the supplies needed for safe and effective castration. The livestock castration kit comes with 1 scalpel handle, #10 sterile blades and #12 sterile blades. The castrator's stainless steel handle and the carbon steel blades ensure reliable strength and durability.

  • For veterinary use only; ideal for all life stages
  • Livestock castration kit includes 1 scalpel handle, (3) #10 sterile blades and (3) #12 sterile blades
  • To attach blade to scalpel handle, begin by gripping the blade with forceps to avoid skin contact with the cutting edge
  • Hold the scalpel handle in your hand with the bayonet fitting at the top, then place the blade over the handle fitting and slide the blade until it clicks into position
  • It is sometimes helpful to tilt the blade slightly upwards when sliding it into the handle
  • To remove the blade from the scalpel handle, grip the blade with the forceps and lift the heel of the blade with the tip of your finger, making sure to avoid contact with the cutting edge of the blade
  • Carefully slide the blade away from the handle
  • Castrator is crafted with stainless steel handles and carbon steel blades
  • Size of the castrator: 6 in.
  • Made in China/Pakistan

If you care about your animals this isn't the scalpel for you. Only one blade was sharp and the others had a hard time cutting newspaper.
