The Producer's Pride Ideal Pro-Shot II Pistol-Grip Livestock Syringe is accurate, lightweight and cost-effective. Each Pro-Shot II syringe is crafted from high-impact aluminum to ensure reliable durability and boasts a 50cc capacity. The dosage sleeve allows you to make adjustments from 1 to 5cc as needed. A replacement O-ring comes included with the livestock syringe.

Q: Can I get replacement sleeves?

- A: Replacement sleeves for a Producer's Pride Ideal Pro Shot II Livestock Syringe are not typically sold as a separate part, as the "dosage sleeve" is a component of the entire syringe that is adjusted for dosage. If you need a new part for this syringe, you would likely need to purchase a complete replacement syringe9 months agoHelpful?
Q: Syringe doesn’t draw in much from the vial, mostly air. And the medicine leaks out the back end. What am i doing wrong?

- A: This can be due to a couple of things: 1) For the syringe pulling in air, sometimes it is helpful to inject a small amount of air into the vial to help with air/liquid displacement. 2) Ensure that the needle is twisted tightly onto the luer lock mechanism of the syringe. Also make sure the barrel is tightly affixed to the aluminum handle/barrel end. 3) Try to just draw air or water into the syringe and see if the o-ring on the plunger is sliding evenly through the barrel. I purchased two and got hundreds of uses out of them. People who have problems don't know to tighten the end knob, this will tighten the plunger ring. works great when you know how to use it.

We noticed while loading a 10ml dose of tetanus antitoxin into the syringe that the vaccine was squeezing past the plunger. It is sold with an O-ring replacement but this was first use. It's also last use. This will be returned when we next trek to town.

IT'S CRAZY that - 1) the syringe does not come with a cannula (needle), AND 2) EVEN CRAZIER that Tractor Supply does not even sell cannulas!
