Rated 4 out of 5 by from Using drencher for herbal deworming Drencher works great for giving my herd of dairy goats herbal dewormer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to administer medication I had 3 pygmy goats attacked by a stray dog. Each had lacerations to hind legs. Used drench gun to administer medication. Worked very well, goats allowed tip to be placed in side of mouth and drank liquid meds easily without choking or resistance. Gun includes extra washer and can be disassembled for easy cleaning. If washer drys out can use small amount of olive oil to increase life of washer and less likelihood of syringe jamming. Great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine I think there could be better instructions according to a lot of the reviews on here; however, the syringe works fine. It can used for injections OR drenching. You have to remove the luer lock tip to be able to properly apply the drench tip, otherwise, it won’t fit the syringe properly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Syringe is good. Fitting is wrong. Like several of the people in the question section, I had trouble attaching the DRENCH NOZZEL FITTING, not a NEEDLE onto the syringe. Most people use a drench nozzel For drenching sheep and goats with dewormer, etc. I think I found out the reason why it wouldn’t fit together, the nozzel fitting is NOT luer lock like the package says, it has threads in it for something that screws together. While the syringe is just for luer locking needles. If I’m missing something, someone please tell me. Luckily we had a luer lock feeding nozzel from Jeffers that fit great. Same size as the fitting for this syringe, just luer locked instead of screws. And whoever y’all have answering questions, you need to get people who actually know what they’re talking about. It’s not worth the money if the fitting isn’t right.

Asked by: For llamas
The tip simply screws into place.

After I delivered the medicine, the delivery tube was full of medicine and spilled all over my hands when I took if apart.  How do I know if I gave the proper dose?

Asked by: Tara five goats farm
Medicine should not stay in the tube once the plunger has been pressed all the way down. It might be possible that the animal’s tongue was pressed against the dosing pipe and kept the medicine from fully dispensing. To make sure everything is properly working- try filling the syringe up with water and pressing the plunger all the way down clearing out the syringe and dose pipe.

my syringe does not screw into place do you take something off first?? mine is the yellow 30 cc syringe

Asked by: Jeaner
If you are trying to attach a needle make sure to screw on the luer lock nut prior to attaching the needle. The hub of the needle fits inside the luer lock nut- to attach needle turn the needle hub. Then remove the cartridge to expose the needle.

To get the proper dosage does it matter if you fill with the long tip on or off

Asked by: Fredd123
No, the tip doesn't count towards dosage only the amount in the barrel.
