Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, small and handy, just right for goats. We have 5 of these one in each truck and trailer. Plus the vet bag and the barn. They are invaluable resources... you never know when a goat will get sick. We can administer the fix on the road or at home. Not drinking due to travel... solve it before a true problem developes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was a good tool, got the job done.... It got the job done, but could use some improvements with respect to design. The plunger can be adjusted to only dispense a certain amount of medication. That was a great feature, however, the plunger was difficult to read as there was no differentiation/color contrast or ink on the measuring portion. I took a Sharpie and colored in the numbers so I could see the measurements more easily. That helped immensely. Otherwise, a good tool. Got the job done.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from O-rings stretch out quickly This product would be perfect, except the o-rings stretch out quickly. I would replace if I had a clue on the diameter of the o-ring. I can measure the diameter of the thing is goes on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good enough for the money The one I bought came with an extra O-ring. Replacement O-rings can be bought at just about any hardware or auto/farm parts stores. It will break if dropped one to many times. Decent value for the money and makes dosing difficult young horses easy enough.

After I delivered the medicine, the delivery tube was full of medicine and spilled all over my hands when I took if apart.  How do I know if I gave the proper dose?

Asked by: Tara five goats farm
Medicine should not stay in the tube once the plunger has been pressed all the way down. It might be possible that the animal’s tongue was pressed against the dosing pipe and kept the medicine from fully dispensing. To make sure everything is properly working- try filling the syringe up with water and pressing the plunger all the way down clearing out the syringe and dose pipe.

my syringe does not screw into place do you take something off first?? mine is the yellow 30 cc syringe

Asked by: Jeaner
If you are trying to attach a needle make sure to screw on the luer lock nut prior to attaching the needle. The hub of the needle fits inside the luer lock nut- to attach needle turn the needle hub. Then remove the cartridge to expose the needle.
