Q: Whats the plack stuff coming from the filter is it because i also forgot to rinse it off before puting it in

Though harmless as this is only the same material that removes bad tastes and odors from the water, this residue can be largely prevented by rinsing the filter under cool water until the water runs clear before placing it in the fountain.
