Prevent small animals from getting into your garden with the Power Wizard Small Animal Electric Fence Kit. Operating much like an electric fence for livestock enclosures, this garden electric fence kit helps prevent rabbits, raccoons and pets from eating your home-grown veggies before you do. This garden fencing kit comes with an 0.05 Joule electric fence controller along with an assortment of supplies to create 100-ft. of 2-strand electric fencing. Kit includes a PW50 electric fence control box, 10 fence posts, 210 ft. fence wire (10 ft. is used for ground rod wire), 24 in. ground rod and a ground rod clamp.

Not for Gravely or Sandy Land-Need Good "Ground"

My Bad. I live in an RV park with loose/sandy soil and was unable to put stakes in ground to elevate/support the wire properly, so it would short out. Also, the soil is gravel/fill and not real dirt so getting a proper "ground" is impossible. Finally said "Oh well" and took it down. Seems to be decent quality with all else considered. All electrics checked out OK. My issue was not a product problem, tho.

Restrictions on proximity to structures and underground A/C lines prevented us from using it. Glad I read the instructions before installation. Warning should be on product page to avoid confusion.
