Q: How do you dispose once finished?
a year ago1 Answer
- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Once the trap is full or no longer needed, carefully remove it from the tree. Fold or roll the sticky paper inward and place it in a disposable bag. Seal the bag and dispose of it in your regular trash, do not recycle or compost it.a year agoHelpful?
Q: How many lanternfly's will it catch, not many, they don't like to walk on sticky paper, so by putting on birch trees at 6' height, I shot >1,000 last year with #64 rubber bands as they won't climb past tape.

- A: Hello, thank you for your question. The manufacturer recommends wrapping the PIC Spotted Lantern Fly Trap approximately 4 feet up a tree trunk, or midway up the trunk of smaller trees for best results. However, they do not explicitly state the number of lanternflies that it will catch. It is intended to catch all life stages of the insect and as you can see in the product images, it is capable of catching a very large quantity of them.a year agoHelpful?
Q: Could this effect birds like nuthatches and woodpeckers?
a year ago1 Answer
- A: This is an extremely sticky trap that is exposed. It is possible for a bird or another animal to stick to it.a year agoHelpful?

Captured about half of them
It captured about half of them. I paid full price online for pickup in store but then when I got there they had clearance stickers on them selling for less than half the regular price. I wasn’t happy about that at all.

Caught hundreds within a few hours
Super easy to set up, not too stick to make it hard to deal with. Within seconds the nymphs were walking up it and getting stuck. Within hours there were hundreds stuck to it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Easy and EFFECTIVE!
Very easy to wrap around trees or poles. You will need an extra hand for anything you can't reach your arms around. It is really easy to cut a well. It may not seem very sticky, but it works!
Yes, I recommend this product.
