Well my dog is refusing to try it We are working with him Only reason I gave 4- stars is the ‘stuff’ covering the ramp it like really rough sandpaper. It’s to help with traction but is almost too rough

Great lightweight folding ramp.

I like the fact this ramp is well made, very lightweight and that it folds in half so it takes up less room. The only thing that I found to be unsatisfactory was the of the hard non-skid walking surface. Our dog did not like walking on that surface. She slipped on it and didn’t like the feel of it. She also has low vision from cataracts. It was suggested that the black color may have appeared to be a hole in front of her. So, I went to the carpet store and had them cut a couple of pieces of light colored carpet that I fastened to the ramp with screws & washers. The light colored carpeting gives contrast to the ramp and now the dog just automatically scampers right up the ramp now and into the car.
