Q: I am adopting a 3 legged retriever his front legs is gone I am wondering has any of your customers order it for a dog like mine
3 months ago- A: Thank you for asking about this! Though designed for use by four legged dogs, there are certainly three legged dogs who have successfully used our ramps. As each dog's experience is different, however, we would recommend checking with your vet to see if they think a ramp would be a good fit for your dog's specific mobility, and to start slowly if you do begin training with the ramp. Working with your dog on leash with the ramp flat on the ground and providing praise and high value treats first for placing his front foot on the ramp, then gradually moving across, will first help adjust him to the ramp before placing it at an incline and continuing slow training. If you have any questions while working with your dog, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! Our number is 1-800-732-2677, and our hours are Monday through Friday 8 A.M.- 7 P.M.
