Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great help getting my dog in the car! I bought this 2 weeks ago to help get my 87 lb German Shepherd in and out of my Subaru and it works great. After I showed her how to start at the end of the ramp ( she wanted to start in the middle) she went right up and into the car. No problems and it is lite enough to carry, put in bumper and have her on leash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hip dysplasia I have an almost 11 year old yellow lab who has hip dysplasia he also weighs about 100 lbs. At first he was very unsure but with some help and praise he is now comfortable using this ramp. Now my lab is back to going for rides in my truck like he loves to do.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Couldn't use with my dog & truck tailgate I could not find a way to securely attach the ramp to my truck's tailgate. The ramp has one strap that attaches to whatever the vehicle might have. It also has a ridge that might hook over some vehicles' back opening and I tried hooking it over the tailgate's edge and holding it in place, but it slipped sideways when my big border collie finally agreed to try it. He'll not try again. My smaller border collie could use it while I held it but she doesn't need it. If it had a way to securely fasten it to my tailgate I would recommend it because it is otherwise well made. Probably is okay for small and medium dogs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Best Friend Perfect to get big dog in & out of SUV. Dog is normally terrified on slippy surface so took to the astroturf quickly without fear. I'm thrilled to be able to take my 90 lb buddy with me! Keep this product!

Would this work getting into back seat of a car?  I always see it in back of suv.

Asked by: Patricia29
The Gen7Pets Natural-Step Mini Ramp SKU # 1148442 may be more suitable for them to get into the back seat of the car since it is a shorter ramp.

I have an older lab who is having trouble getting up on my bed. Would ''tis work on a bed?

Asked by: Dolphinsong52
Yes, it could also serve the purpose of helping the animal get onto the bed. It may not rest as secure but, it would work.

What is the height of the ramp from the top to the ground. I have a German Shepherd and trying to see If it would even be high enough for him to access a 3-4 ft bed

Asked by: LauraL2932
The ramp itself is flat, so whatever the ramp is resting on, in your case it would be the bed that is 3-4 ft off of the ground, it will be as high as whatever it is that the ramp is set up on, plus 1.5 inches, as the product is 1.5 inches in thickness.

The product is 6ft long. Attaching it to the bed of a truck will work but will cause a steeper incline based on the height of the bed. If your pet can handle the incline then there should be no issue.

Could this be used outside as my pet had trouble going down steps

Asked by: Ozzy 12
The vehicle pet ramp is best used with SUVs, minivans and pickup trucks. However it may work while walking up an incline as well. It would also depend on the height of the steps.
