The pet receiver collar works with all PetSafe indoor and outdoor Pawz Away systems, which acts as a hidden barrier for your pets. When your cat or dog enters the barrier area, they feel a safe, progressive static correction from their pet receiver collar which trains them to recognize an "off limits" area. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the waterproof pet receiver collar is designed for dogs and cats over 5 lb. with neck sizes 6-28 in. The Pawz Away system works with an unlimited number of pets if they are wearing this pet receiver collar. Trust PetSafe to help keep your pet healthy, safe and happy.

Amazing when used Properly

Using this and the barrier is amazing, if you’re using it properly. I have a cat who has been urinating inappropriately since I’ve gotten her, and she was around 2 months old, she’s currently 9. She has been peeing on bedding, beds, clothing, out of spite/when she’s upset or if the litter boxes aren’t absolutely pristine. Since getting this collar (originally bought separately because I didn’t think that the one that came with the barrier didn’t work, turns out it just needed new barriers, but I misplaced that collar) she had done a full 180. She has stopped inappropriately peeing, has started self soothing, and spending more time with the family/pets, using the litter boxes appropriately, and been much more comfortable. She’s always been very affectionate, and now, even moreso. She’s had no irritation, or missing hair around her neck. When the collar is used appropriately, and there’s proper space, there should be no issues. I can’t wait to get another one in order to help my other rescue who started inappropriately peeing.

Don't last

I have bought seven of these collars and they just don't last. I keep buying them because I don't want to have to but a whole other system. I am very disappointed.

Collar has stopped working after 3 months.

This is the second Pawz Away system that I have purchased. My first one lasted for over two years. The new one has lasted a little over 3 months. I am not happy at all.

It works, but it breaks

Got one. Broke. Received two replacements. they broke. Even with new batteries, they're terrible. I love the idea of the product, but the collar is truly a terribly-built collar.
