The Easy Walk Harness is a no-pull dog harness that helps stop pulling and teaches him better leash manners. The Easy Walk Harness has been loved and trusted by millions of pet parents and trainers since 2004 to help improve walks around the world. Since this harness rests across your dog's chest, you won't have to worry about it putting pressure on your dog's neck like when he wears a standard collar. The patented martingale loop on the front of the harness makes this harness great for dogs who pull. Q: I have a rat terrier jack Russell mix. He is 23 lbs and has a 6 in chest as well as a 20 inch girth. What size would be best?

- A: Thank you for your great question! According to the measurements you provided, you may need to re-measure your dog's chest width. When you measure the chest width, be sure to wrap the measuring tape across the front of his chest over the breast bone to approximately 1 inch behind his front legs. Once you have this measurement, along with the girth measurement, you should find the size in the fitting chart that works for you. Worked on our first walk!

Love this harness!! I wish we would have bought one years ago. We have been using this with our 6 yr old, 30 lb pup who pulls like crazy when we start our walks. On our very first walk, he stopped pulling and walked calmly beside me or just in front with a loose leash pace. Fitting it the first time is a bit of trial and error but once we got it sized correctly Jack took to it right away. I think he enjoys his walks more as we are not struggling to control the pulling.
Before buying I called Petsafe to discuss what we were trying to achieve and this is the harness they recommended. They were very helpful. Thank you!

The recommendation of another dog owner, Purchased two sizes “medium” and “large” from PetSmart. Neither fit my dog. I checked the manufacturer website to find there is a “medium/large” size which is not offered at PetSmart. Petsafe customer service chat window was a little challenging, but ultimately Petsafe (Morgan) offered and shipped the appropriate size. Expected to receive it in 3-5 days.
The sizing and fitting seems to be the most challenging, despite the tutorials/videos as I do not want it to restrict my dog’s gait or harm joints/mobility.
Also, there are videos, not endorsed by Petsafe, that incorrectly demonstrate the use of the harness.

Night and day for our pulling dog!

This harness instantly helped our rescue dog pull less when walking! Getting the right fit is important in making sure it doesn’t rub or leave blisters. Definitely measure! Our dog has a small body and big chest so we ended up buying the small/medium on the website because the in-between size wasn’t available at the pet store. Highly recommend!!!
