This is a terrific toy for large dogs. It's very durable, and floats. We've had two dogs now and this has been their favorite toy. The ball itself is so durable that I've had to replace the rope that's threaded through it - but the rope makes it easy to throw it and easy for the dog to fetch it. We toss ours out into the middle of an in-ground pool and the dog dives in after it. Good way to get your dog lots of exercise!

I just bought this toy today because my German Shepherd heeler mixes love jolly ball. They kill the ones made for horses but the one with a handle made for dogs is the durability they need having two I was really looking forward to the toy having a rope added for them to enjoy... Within five minutes the rope literally snapped just from them tugging. Hopefully the ball lasts but the point in this toy really was for them to play tug a war and have a different toy and for it to not even last a day is pretty disappointing.
